Jane Nichols is a Birmingham, Alabama–based abstract artist and graphic designer. She graduated with a BFA in graphic design from The University of Alabama, with minors in computing technology & applications and public relations. Jane began her creative journey in public relations, drawn to the visual side of communication, before shifting her focus toward a more hands-on, expressive studio practice.

Her artwork explores themes of nature, organic form, and textured balance, using acrylic paint on raw canvas, and pen and charcoal on paper. Grounded in experimentation and attention to texture, her studio practice reflects a deep connection to process and surface.

Alongside her art practice, Jane continues to work as a graphic designer, bringing clarity, structure, and visual problem-solving to client projects. With experience in both a student-led PR firm and a creative advertising agency, she thrives in creative partnerships that value thoughtful communication and artistic vision.​​
